ARLINGTON – The White Sox were shut out by the Rangers 10-0 on Tuesday night as Texas pounded out a season high 18 hits. Chicago managed just three hits, including the only hit allowed by Rangers starter Kumar Rocker over six innings. Noah Schultz gave up five runs on 11 hits in 3 2/3 innings as the White Sox were blanked for the sixth time this season. Despite the loss, Chicago remained narrowly in first place in the American League Central. The series wraps up Wednesday with Anthony Kay starting for the White Sox against Texas right hander Cal Quantrill.
