Pet of the week: I’m Nova, 50 pounds of sweetness, and yes… I only have one eye. But don’t worry—that doesn’t bother me one bit. After spending years in a loving home, I found myself back at the shelter due to some very sad circumstances. It’s a big change for a senior girl, but I’m doing my best to stay hopeful.
The volunteers say I’m easy to walk, love being petted, and am happy to soak up all the cuddles you can give. I adore sunny spots, cozy blankets, comfy couches, and leisurely walks. I’m housebroken, know my manners, and have lived happily with people of all ages.
I even recently met another calm senior dog and spent time enjoying some gentle play in the yard.
