Oregon Blood Drive Scheduled July 28th at Oregon Church of God

OREGON — Rock River Valley Blood Center will hold a community blood drive Tuesday, July 28, from noon to 5 p.m. at Oregon Church of God, 860 W. Oregon Trail Road. The drive will help collect blood donations needed by hospitals throughout northern Illinois. Maggie Anderson, donor recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said donated blood is a vital resource for patients and requires community participation. “Blood banks, including the Rock River Valley Blood Center, often face shortages, especially during holidays and emergencies, making consistent donations essential,” Anderson said. The blood center uses mobile drives to bring donation opportunities to communities across the region.
