Mount Morris Woman Charged With Financial Exploitation Of Elderly Person

OREGON — A Mount Morris woman has been charged after an Ogle County Sheriff’s Office investigation into a reported financial crime in Daysville. Detectives began the investigation on May 4. On July 22, detectives arrested 60 year old Jerri L. Burger of Mount Morris and charged her with financial exploitation of an elderly person, a Class 2 felony. She was taken to the Ogle County Jail and later released on a notice to appear under the Illinois SAFE T Act.
