DeKalb County Community Foundation Opens Fall Grant Applications

SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County Community Foundation is accepting applications for its Fall 2026 Community Needs and Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund grant programs for nonprofit and public sector organizations that serve DeKalb County. Applications for both programs are due by 11:59 p.m. Sept. 1. Last year, the Community Needs program awarded $228,520 to 40 organizations, while the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation Fund provided $241,400 to 46 organizations supporting music education.
