Luis Castillo threw 7 shutout innings of 1-hit baseball as the Chicago White Sox beat the Cincinnati Reds 5-0 on Wednesday night.
Castillo had a season high 10 strikeouts as he pitched his second game for Chicago since the trade with Seattle.
White Sox had home runs in the game from Drew Romo and Chase Meidroth.
With the win, Chicago leads the AL Central Division by 3 1/2 games over Minnesota and Detroit.
Rubber game in the series is Thursday afternoon at Rate Field in Chicago.
