It is day 7 on Wednesday for fall camp involving the NIU Huskies as they prepare for the upcoming college football season.
Practice is taking place in DeKalb under first year head coach Rob Harley. He was the defensive coordinator for the Huskies last season.
Harley said that there has been good progress so far in the practices and it is an advantage for him that he was in the program las year.
NIU will have 13 pracrtices during Fall camp which ends August 27th.
The season opener will be on September 5th at Iowa.
The home opener for NIU is September 12th against Illinois State.
