Pet of the week: I’m Daisy, and I’m 12 years young. Sometimes when people see my gray muzzle and hear my age, they keep walking. I hope you’ll stop and read my story instead.
Since coming here I’ve met some really nice staff and volunteers who make me feel so special. They say I’m calm, gentle, and easygoing…and I think they figured out pretty quickly that one of my favorite ways to say “thank you” is with sweet little kisses. I love being petted, and I’ll happily lean in for every bit of love you want to give.
I’m carrying a few extra pounds, so I’d really enjoy a family who will take me on nice, leisurely walks, which I love. The best part? I’m easy on a leash and just happy to be by your side. I don’t even care much about treats—I just want someone to spend time with. I also love to play ball!
I’ve waited a long time for my forever family, and at 12 years old, I hope I don’t have to wait much longer. I may not be a puppy anymore, but my heart is every bit as full of love.
