A 6th inning solo home run by Andrew Benintendi on Saturday was enough for the Chicago White Sox to beat the San Francisco Giants 1-0 at Rate Field.
Adrian Houser threw 7 socreless innings and gave up 4 hits and had 5 strikeouts for the win.
Grant Taylor worked the final 2 innings for the save.
It was only the 4th win in the past 16 games for the White Sox.
The Giants have lost 11 out of their last 15 games.
The rubber game in the 3-game series will be Sunday afternoon in Chicago.
