(Raleigh, NC) — The Stanley Cup Final started with a bang. The Golden Knights outlasted the Hurricanes 5-4 in a back and forth Game One from Raleigh. The Canes stormed out to a two-goal lead before the Golden Knights responded with three straight.
Tomas Hertl scored the go-ahead goal late in the third period.
Vegas has now won seven straight playoff games. Carolina dropped just its second game of the postseason.
Game Two is slated for Thursday.
