ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Police Department responded to a welfare check in the 100 block of 7th Avenue at around 3 a.m. Wednesday. Officers conducted an investigation and later determined there was no threat to public safety. Police said the incident was unfounded.
The Rochelle Police Department was assisted by the Illinois State Police, DeKalb Police Department, Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, and DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
