Rochelle Blood Drive at Faith Lutheran Church

ROCHELLE — Residents can donate blood Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle as the Rock River Valley Blood Center hosts a community blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. The drive is part of the center’s ongoing effort to collect donations needed by hospitals across northern Illinois. Founded in 1959, the Rock River Valley Blood Center has provided blood services to the region for more than six decades. Maggie Anderson, donor recruiter with the center, said regular donations help ensure hospitals have access to blood for patients facing surgeries, trauma, cancer treatments and other medical needs. The mobile blood drive will be held at 14206 E. Flagg Road.
