CHICAGO — Tristan Peters hit for the first cycle of his career and Sean Burke struck out nine over seven strong innings as the Chicago White Sox rolled to a 14-1 victory over the Athletics on Friday night. Peters drove in four runs and became the first White Sox player to hit for the cycle since José Abreu in 2017. Chicago broke the game open with an eight run seventh inning, while Burke improved to 6-4 after allowing one run on four hits. The White Sox will send Erick Fedde (4-6, 4.34 ERA) to the mound Saturday against Athletics left hander Gage Jump (3-3, 3.77 ERA).
