SYCAMORE — The Sycamore Police Department, DeKalb Police Department and other local first responders will host National Night Out Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sycamore Hy-Vee. The event will feature K 9 demonstrations, drone demonstrations, emergency vehicles, games, giveaways, a dunk tank and a raffle drawing at 6:30 p.m.
“We will have canine demonstrations from DeKalb, Sycamore, and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office happening, as well as some drone demonstrations,” Sycamore Police Community Resource Sgt. Stacy Binkowski said.
“This is reaching out to the entire community to come out and meet and greet your first responders, your police officers, your firemen,” Hy-Vee representative Gus Guevara said.
The event is free and open to the public at 2700 DeKalb Avenue in Sycamore.
