McCombie Opposes E-Bike Regulation Bill

SPRINGFIELD – House Minority Leader Tony McCombie criticized legislation approved in the Illinois House on Tuesday that would regulate electric bikes in Illinois. McCombie said the proposal “falls short” and argued it ignores concerns from UTV owners regarding road safety and existing laws related to driving under the influence. She also criticized the Secretary of State’s office, calling the effort a “hasty regulation” attempt that she said “is a failure.”
