KANKAKEE — Illinois Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer 2 Ethan Connor of Huntley has been selected to receive the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, one of only four warrant officers across the Army, Army National Guard and Army Reserve to earn the honor this year. Connor, a UH 60 Black Hawk pilot with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 106th Aviation Regiment, was recognized for his leadership, aviation skills and service during deployments and training missions. He helped test the UH 60V aircraft, deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and served as a flight lead and mission planner for more than 600 missions that transported 900 passengers and 80,000 pounds of cargo.
