SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County History Center will host its next Brown Bag Lunch program on Thursday, Aug. 6, featuring award winning folksinger and folklorist Chris Vallillo presenting “Abraham Lincoln in Song.” The noon performance on the History Center’s Corn Crib Stage will explore the life of the 16th president through music and stories from his era as part of the DeKalb County History Center’s and Ellwood House Museum’s observance of the nation’s 250th anniversary. The outdoor concert will move inside if needed because of weather and is part of the Crib Notes Summer Concert Series sponsored by the Farny Wurlitzer Foundation and the Illinois Arts Council.
