A go-ahead two-run triple in the 6th inning Friday night by Patrick Bailey gave the San Francisco Giants a 3-1 win over the Chicago White Sox at Rate Field.
It also ended the Giants 3-game losing streak.
Landon Roupp picked up his 6th win as he threw 5 1/3 innings of 1 run baseball.
The White Sox have now lost 12 out of their last 15 games.
Chicago scored their only run on a throwing error in the first inning.
Game 2 in the series is Saturday afternoon.
