SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County History Center will host its fifth annual Cocktails at the Crib fundraiser tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. at 1730 N. Main St. in Sycamore, featuring live music, food, drinks, and activities supporting local history programs. The event, presented by Resource Bank, will include cocktails, appetizers, lawn games, raffles, a silent auction, and live entertainment by Mathey and Friends. Guests will also have access to the center’s America 250 exhibit, We the People of DeKalb County, highlighting local history and community stories. History Center Executive Director Michelle Donahoe said the event showcases the campus and offers unique experiences for visitors. Admission includes drinks, a commemorative cup, exhibit access, and event activities, with additional drink tickets and raffle entries available on site. A signature Bourbon and Blues cocktail created by Whiskey Acres will also be served along with other beverage options. Proceeds support exhibits, educational programming, preservation work, and community events. The event is recommended for adults age 21 and older.
