Pete Crow-Armstrong hit a 3-run home run and Dansby Swanson went deep and drove in 4 runs as the Chicago Cubs beat the New York Mets 9-6 at Citi Field.
The Cubs did get bad news when starting pitcher Edward Cabrera hurt his left leg stretching to catch a throw to first base in the 5th inning. He was carted off the field with a left hamstring injury.
Francisco Alvarez had a home run and drove in 3 runs for the Mets.
The 2 teams will play a day-night doubleheader on Wednesday in New York.
