ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Kiwanis Golden K is accepting applications for the 2026 Little Miss Peanut Contest, which will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 14 during the Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival. The contest is open to girls ages 6, 7 and 8 at the time of the festival who attend feeder schools to Rochelle Township High School. Families may request an application by emailing the Rochelle Kiwanis Golden K, and completed applications must be received by July 24. Applications may be returned by email or mailed to the organization’s post office box. Organizers are also encouraging former Little Miss Peanut winners to contact the group so they can be recognized during this year’s festival. Questions may be directed to Secretary Jody Taylor.
