Angel Martinez and Daniel Schneeman also went deep for Cleveland.
Logan Allen got the win throwing 1-hit baseball over 6 innings.
The White Sox had only 2 hits in the game which included a 2-run home run by Luis Robert Jr.
In game 2, an RBI single by Mike Tauchman in the bottom of the 11th inning gave the White Sox a 5-4 win.
Lenyn Sosa had 2 solo home runs in the game for the White Sox.
The loss snapped a 4-game winning streak for Cleveland.
Game 3 in the series is Saturday afternoon at Rate Field in Chicago.
