OREGON – An SUV overturned and caught fire Monday morning in the 10,000 block of North Illinois Route 2. Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash just before 8 a.m. and determined a 43 year old Rockford woman was driving north when she entered the westbound ditch. The driver was taken to an area hospital by Byron Ambulance with minor injuries. She was cited for driving without a valid license, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Byron Fire/EMS and Byron Police assisted at the scene.
