Michael Busky Named New CEO of Rochelle Community Hospital

ROCHELLE – Michael Busky has been named the next chief executive officer of Rochelle Community Hospital. Busky officially began serving as CEO October 1. He brings nearly 30 years of health care leadership experience, including his current role as vice president of operations and chief operating officer at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village. Busky grew up in the Rochelle and Rockford area, graduated from Rochelle Township High School and attended Kishwaukee Community College. He began his health care career as a radiology and interventional technologist at OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center before moving into management and other leadership roles. As CEO, Busky will oversee the hospital’s recently approved expansion project, work to improve access to nonemergency care and evaluate services that could be provided locally instead of outside the Rochelle area. He will also work with local educators to create health care career opportunities for students.
