Stillman Valley Blood Drive Scheduled at Valley Covenant Church

STILLMAN VALLEY — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will hold a blood drive at Valley Covenant Church, 103 S. Maple St., on Wednesday, January 14, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. RRVBC provides blood for 14 area hospitals and collects more than 800 units weekly from nine counties across Illinois and Wisconsin. Donors are encouraged to reserve a donation time at RRVBC.org, though walk-ins are welcome. Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said “Many people celebrate the holidays with friends and family, but for patients in hospitals, every day is a fight. Giving blood after the holidays ensures those in need get a second chance at life.”
