Sterling Man Faces Drug And Weapons Charges

STERLING –  A Sterling man faces drug and weapons charges.  Police say Sterling officers responded to a report of a retail theft on Thursday in the 400 block of Locust Street.  While investigating, officers were alerted to criminal trespass to vehicles in the 200 block of West 3rd Street.  Officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of West 5th Street.  Officers arrested Jordan Kaye on multiple charges, including aggravated unlawful use of weapons and possession of meth.  Another person in the vehicle was arrested on unrelated retail theft and liquor charges.
