ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Police Department reported that this year’s Pink Patch Project raised funds for the Northwestern Medicine LivingWell Cancer Resource Center and for the Tammy Kovacs Memorial Scholarship, with Officer Ryan Kovacs set to present a $1000 donation to the center and a $500 scholarship to a Rochelle Township High School student in May as part of the department’s ongoing effort to support cancer resources and local students affected by breast cancer through sales of pink patches and apparel.
