ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle earlier this month approved easement agreements totaling $403,273 to support construction of the Centerpoint Substation. Agreements with the Noggle Family Limited Partnership, Fresh Furrow LLC, Donald and Frances Cappell, Chicago Title Trust, and John Norton provide permanent access for installation, maintenance, and emergency operations of electrical infrastructure. Blake Toliver, Superintendent of Electric Operations and Generation, said that this is just a part of the construction project at that location. The easements are funded through the RMU Electric Fund and advance the city’s goal of improving infrastructure effectiveness and reliability.
