Roberts Armory WWII Museum Open 

ROCHELLE — The Roberts Armory WWII Museum will be open to the public today from 1 to 4 p.m. The Higgins Boat will be open for viewing, weather permitting. The museum features World War II artifacts including tanks, trucks, cannons and 1945 Rochelle News Leader newspapers with photographs of Rochelle residents who served during World War II. Visitors can follow signs near Route 251 and Intermodal Drive to reach the museum, located about three miles away. There is no admission charge. The next museum opening is scheduled for November 8th.
