Rita Frazer to join National Association of Farm Broadcasting Hall of Fame

BLOOMINGTON — Illinois Farm Bureau’s RFD Radio Network Audio News Manager Rita Frazer has been named a 2026 inductee into the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Hall of Fame, recognizing her 35 years in agricultural broadcasting. Frazer joined the RFD Radio Network full time in 2011 after 22 years at WSMI Radio in Litchfield and has helped expand the network’s reach to 85 affiliate stations across Illinois. She will be honored Nov. 19 during the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Night of Honors Celebration Banquet in Kansas City. “Being recognized by my peers with the Hall of Fame award is truly an honor, and humbling,” Frazer said. She is a past president of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting and was named the organization’s Farm Broadcaster of the Year in 2024.
