Panduit, Ingersoll-Rand Announce Illinois Job Cuts and Facility Closures

DEKALB — Illinois-based Panduit will close its DeKalb warehouse in December 2025 and move operations to Indiana, affecting 185 permanent employees, while Ingersoll-Rand plans to lay off 70 workers at its Princeton facility on March 31, 2026, as part of a consolidation, according to WARN notices filed with the state. Panduit, a manufacturer of electrical infrastructure, opened the DeKalb location in 1998 and will relocate its roughly 600,000-square-foot warehouse to a 425,000-square-foot Indiana facility near its headquarters. Ingersoll-Rand, which makes industrial products including compressors, vacuums, and pumps, cited business reasons for the layoffs at its Princeton plant.
