DEKALB – Rooted For Good’s Mobile Food Pantry will distribute free groceries from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at University Village, 722 N. Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb. The Mobile Food Pantry is a refrigerated truck that brings free groceries to neighbors throughout DeKalb County. There are no requirements to receive food, and no documents or proof of need are required. The Mobile Food Pantry holds pop up events in Cortland, DeKalb, Hinckley, Malta, Sandwich and Waterman. Residents can receive text alerts about upcoming Mobile Food Pantry locations by texting FreeGroceries to (844) 727-2012.
