CHICAGO  — Meijer is recalling more than 38-thousand gallons of distilled water sold in Illinois over concerns the product may contain a foreign substance. The recall involves one-gallon jugs of Meijer Steam Distilled Water with red plastic lids that may have a black substance floating inside. The affected water was sold at Meijer locations across Illinois, including stores in the Chicago suburbs. Customers are urged to stop using the product and check sell-by dates and lot information.
