Let’s Talk Turkey Drive Collects 620 Donations For DeKalb Holiday Meals

DEKALB — The annual Let’s Talk Turkey Drive in DeKalb helped bring 700 Thanksgiving dinners for area families. The Salvation Army DeKalb Corps reported that 288 turkeys were dropped off, plus enough cash to purchase another 332, for a total of 620 donations. The collection took place Friday hosted by long time supporter and host TD Ryan at the food pantry on Grove Street. The drive was sponsored by the Kishwaukee DeKalb Kiwanis Club.
