Illinois to Launch State-Run Health Insurance Marketplace Nov. 1

SPRINGFIELD – Starting Nov. 1, Get Covered Illinois will become the state’s official health insurance marketplace, replacing Healthcare.gov for Illinois residents. The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approved the transition to the state-based system, where Illinoisans can enroll in coverage for 2026.
