Federal Reserve Reports Modest Growth Nationwide, Little Change in Chicago District

CHICAGO – The Federal Reserve System has released its latest Beige Book on U.S. economic conditions. According to the national summary, overall economic activity increased at a slight to modest pace in eight of the Fed’s twelve districts. The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago reported little change in the Seventh District, which includes parts of Illinois and four other states.
