DEKALB — The DeKalb City Council approved a multi year contract with Peregrine Technology to improve how the Police Department collects, shares and analyzes emergency response information. The agreement will provide a platform that connects data from systems including body cameras, mobile data computers, dispatch records and evidence storage. City officials said the technology will help officers access information faster, improve collaboration and support more efficient emergency responses. The system will also provide secure data sharing while meeting Criminal Justice Information Services security standards. The contract includes payments of $19,760 for the remainder of 2026, $86,900 in 2027, $92,190 in 2028 and $94,955 in 2029. Funding for the 2026 portion will come from the city’s forfeiture accounts.
