DEKALB — DeKalb Fifth Ward Alderman Andre Powell will host a public ward meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 6 p.m. at River Heights Golf Course, 1020 Sharon Drive. Powell will provide opening remarks before taking comments from residents on local issues and opportunities affecting the Fifth Ward. The meeting will be held in person only, and attendees may record or livestream the proceedings. Residents are encouraged to submit discussion topics to Powell before the meeting so they can be presented and addressed when possible.
