DeKalb County to Hold Free Electronics and Recycling Collection

DEKALB – DeKalb County residents can take part in a free collection event for electronics, textiles, aerosol products and single use propane tanks from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 17, at DeKalb Municipal Airport, 2200 Pleasant St. Latex paint also will be accepted for a fee. Residents must provide proof of address to participate. The event will be held rain or shine, with entry from the east on County Farm Road. More information about accepted items is available from the DeKalb County Health Department.
