The Braves shut out the White Sox 2-0 in their makeup game from Chicago. Grant Holmes earned the win after striking out three batters over six innings. Austin Riley provided all of the offense after going two for four with a pair of RBIs. Atlanta snapped its three-game skid. Anthony Kay was charged with the loss after allowing two runs on five hits and a walk. Chicago has now dropped three of its last four games. The White Sox open up a series at home Friday night against the New York Mets.
