Rochelle High School Plans Dual District Administration Changes

ROCHELLE — Rochelle Township High School is preparing for the retirements of Assistant Superintendent Tony Doyle in June 2027 and Business Manager Kevin Dale in June 2028. The district plans to begin advertising for the positions this fall and hopes to have replacements selected by December so they can work alongside the current administrators before their retirements. Under the proposed restructuring, a Director of Teaching and Learning will oversee curriculum, data analysis and teachers, while the Assistant Superintendent will handle leadership, business operations, payroll, finances, technology, food service and transportation. The school board approved moving forward with the hiring process and will consider the job descriptions and timeline as the transition continues.
