The Heat led by 18 points at half time and by 27 points after 3 quarters.
Kel’el Ware had 20 points and 14 rebounds and Norman Powell had 19 points for Miami.
The Bulls were led by Ayo Dosunmu with 23 points and Josh Giddey with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Chicago is now (1-2) in the NBA Cup. The Heat are (2-1).
The Bulls play at home Saturday night against Washington.
The Buffalo Sabres scored 3 goals in each period Friday night as they beat the Chicago Blackhawks 9-3.
The Sabres were led by Josh Doan with 2 goals and Alex Tuch with 4 assists.
Buffalo picked up their third win in the last 4 games.
This was the second straight loss for the Blackhawks. Tyler Bertuzzi had 2 goals for Chicago.
The Blackhawks return to the ice on Sunday night at the United Center against Colorado.
