102.3 The Coyote Named Finalist for National Marconi Radio Award

ROCHELLE — 102.3 The Coyote has been named a finalist for the 2026 NAB Marconi Radio Awards in the Small Market Station of the Year category. The National Association of Broadcasters announced the finalists Tuesday, with winners to be honored Oct. 20 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City during a ceremony held the night before the annual NAB Show in New York. The Marconi Awards, established in 1989, recognize excellence in radio stations, personalities, podcasts and industry leaders from across the country. Other Illinois finalists include AM 670 The Score in Chicago for Major Market Station of the Year and Mitch Rosen from 670 The Score for Legendary Radio Manager of the Year. The Coyote has previously been nominated for a number of national and regional awards, including winning multiple Station of the Year honors by the Illinois Broadcasters Association, and Radio Personality of the Year honors for 102.3 The Coyote morning show host and program director Kris Wexell. Earlier this year 102.3 The Coyote was also nominated for Small Market Station of the Year at the annual Academy of Country Music Radio Awards.
