9th Street Closure Planned In Rochelle For Sidewalk Project

ROCHELLE  — A portion of 9th Street in Rochelle will be closed from July 22 through July 28 as part of the city’s annual sidewalk program. The half block area between Railroad Park and Lincoln Avenue will undergo construction to modernize the roadway and install new curb and gutter. Railroad Park will remain accessible from the south. Detours and temporary traffic control signs will be posted near the work zone, and drivers are asked to use caution and follow posted warnings while traveling in the area.
