2025 Ogle County Tentative Multiplier Set At 1.0000

SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Department of Revenue has issued a tentative property assessment equalization factor of 1.0000 for Ogle County. The multiplier is used to ensure uniform property assessments across counties, with state law requiring assessments to equal one-third of market value. The department found Ogle County assessments averaged 33.27% of market value based on sales from 2022 through 2024. Last year’s factor was 1.0271. A public hearing will be held within 30 days of the publication of the tentative multiplier before it becomes final.
