Wisconsin Woman Arrested After Vehicle Crashes Into Creek Near German Valley

GERMAN VALLEY — A 25-year-old Brooklyn, Wisconsin, woman was arrested Sunday night after her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into Mud Creek near German Valley. Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies were called around 7:30 p.m. to North Adeline Road and West Coffman Road for a report of a single vehicle crash. Deputies said the woman was driving north on North Adeline Road when her vehicle left the west side of the road for unknown reasons, went airborne over the creek and struck the north embankment before landing on its tires. She was taken to FHN Hospital in Freeport by German Valley EMS with injuries that were not life threatening. She was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI with no valid license, driving while her license was suspended or revoked without a BAIID, DUI involving alcohol and operating a vehicle without a valid license. She also was cited for failure to reduce speed, improper lane use, expired registration, driving without insurance, disobeying a stop sign and using an electronic communication device while driving. She was released on a notice to appear in court at a later date.
