The White Sox extended their winning streak after holding off the Royals 6-5 in Chicago. Tyler Davis was credited with the victory after striking out two over an inning and two-thirds of relief.
Colson Montgomery led the way at the dish after going three for four with a solo homer in the bottom of the seventh inning. Chicago has now won four in a row.
Bobby Witt Jr. slugged his seventh home run of the season with a two-run blast in the top of the ninth. Kansas City has now dropped three straight.
