DIXON — Discover Dixon announced its 2026 summer series featuring a full slate of downtown and riverfront events, including Dixon City Market, Music at the Square, Fitness Fridays, Dement Town Music Fest, and Venetian Night with a returning drone show.
Discover Dixon Events Director Jennifer Lange said the Market will happen every Wednesday.
“It is our 11th year hosting our Dixon City Market down on the riverfront, downtown Dixon. It will start Wednesday, May 27th, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. We have anywhere between 50 and 60 vendors. So it’s a great time to come down, do a little shopping, grab a beverage, grab something to eat, and enjoy the riverfront,” Lange said.
Music at the Square will follow on Fridays from June 5 through August 28 at John Dixon Park, featuring 11 weeks of free live music. Fitness Fridays will also begin June 5 with early morning outdoor workouts along the Rock River, offering rotating instructors and multiple fitness styles. Other featured events include the Dement Town Music Fest on May 30 and Venetian Night on August 8, which will again include a drone show.
