Illinois won their 8th straight game Wednesday night in college basketball as they beat Maryland 89-70 in Champaign.
The Illini took control of the game early and led 47-30 at half.
Illinois was led by Andrej Stojakovic with 30 points and 9 rebounds.
The Illini are now (16-3) for the season, (7-1) in the Big 10.
Illinois returns to action on Saturday afternoon at Purdue.
