The win snapped a 4-game losing streak for the Padres.
Miguel Andujar and Manny Machado also had solo home runs for San Diego.
The loss ended a 5-game winning streak for the White Sox.
Derek Hill hit a 2-run home run and Drew Romo a solo shot for Chicago.
Tyler Davis took the loss in relief.
The White Sox continue their west coast trip Monday night against the L.A. Angels
